Requirements and Goals

Google Business Profile (earlier known as Google My Business) provides an integrated platform for businesses to list their product or services and establish a robust online presence. Maintaining an active and proper Google My Business profile can result in better visibility on Google and Google Maps. Further, it also helps in boosting the credibility of a business.

Like every business, the client wanted more traffic to their Google My Business page. They contacted us to help them build an accurate GMB profile. Though they had a GMB profile, their profile didn’t have much information. Hence, everything from the business name to products needed to be either updated or added.

What We Did

As we said before, there was not much information available on our client's GMB profile, so we had to start from scratch. Therefore, first, we updated the GMB name to match the name of their business. After that, we updated their address and phone number.

Name, address, and phone number are the basic things that need to be updated, it’s abbreviated as NAP. Following the NAP procedure, we added company description, industry type, working hours, and other necessary information. We kept the company description keyword-friendly so that it could benefit the local SEO.

Following Google's protocols for GMB listing, we added products to their GMB profile with titles, descriptions, and images for all products. Since we followed all guidelines, hence, our listing got approved within 24 hours.

We managed Lucy's GMB listing for over one month by regularly posting content and images to let Google know that Lucy's Waffle and Ice Cream is active and engaging with customers.
